Emergency Medications

The ONLY medications that can be carried by students during school hours and/or school sponsored activities are Epinephrine auto-injectors, rescue inhalers and/or diabetic medications.

These medications may be carried by middle and high school students once all of the appropriate paperwork has been completed and appropriate use demonstrated to the school nurse.

If used during school hours/activities, the school nurse should be notified immediately.  Utilizing an epinephrine auto-injector necessitates a 911 call.

Emergency medications for elementary students will be kept in The Health Room.
